When Ulteig was looking to add aviation project coordination skills to the team last year, Celeste Low, Senior Engineer – Civil, topped the list. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, recruiting Celeste to facilitate construction of the new international airport in Williston, North Dakota (XWA) has helped to raise Ulteig's stature in aviation.
Celeste has a Civil Engineering degree, is a registered Professional Engineer and a Project Management Professional. She previously worked as a construction project manager and senior airport engineer and successfully directed design and construction efforts at many airports, including Bellingham, Seattle-Tacoma, Sacramento, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles. Due to her experience, Celeste is a go-to person for aviation projects ranging from large-scale work such as in Williston, to smaller aspects of other facilities.
Celeste is excited to have the opportunity to put all of her accomplishments to work on the Williston Airport project.
"Taking a green field and turning it into an airport is a lot of work, but I'm really enjoying the challenge," she said. "Building completely new airports is rare, so this is really fun."
