Wind Power Project, Near Pigeon, MI
Engineering technician for a project that involved collection system, substation, and transmission line design for a 112 MW wind farm in Michigan. The project consisted of 70 GE 1.6 MW wind turbines, a 34.5/40 kV and 34.5/120 kV collector substation, and approximately 6.4 miles of 120 kV transmission line.
Wind Power Project, Near Benton County, IN
Engineer technician on a wind farm and collection project that included 133 1.5 MW GE wind turbines. The substation has a 125 MVA, 345 kV to 34.5 kV power transformer with eight feeders and an O&M building.
Wind Power Project, Madison and Tipton Counties, IN
Engineering technician for a 200 MW project that consisted of 125 GE 1.6 MW wind turbines. The underground collection system totaled 458,359 circuit feet of 34.5 kV JCN cable. Ulteig’s scope of work for the project included the design and optimized routing of the underground collection system cable and equipment and the design of the wind turbine generator ground grid and conduit. Ulteig also performed all relevant studies.
