Andrew Melvin Joins Ulteig – Solar Performance Engineering

We are excited to announce that Andrew Melvin is joining Ulteig’s Technical Services – Transmission, Distribution and Communication (TD&C) team as Technical Manager of our new Solar Performance Engineering offering.
Andrew has 9 years of solar engineering and leadership experience, most recently as Director of Development and Performance Engineering for SunEdison. His technical proficiency includes design and performance engineering residential, commercial/industrial and utility scale projects up to 1 GW in size. He has been responsible for site plans, electrical diagrams, wire sizing, system performance and optimization, interconnection details and commissioning of PV systems. Throughout his career, Andrew has managed and trained multiple engineering teams who have completed a wide variety of solar projects. Andrew earned his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
