Davies Named Communications Director

Craig Davies joined Ulteig in October as Communications Director, leading the company’s internal, external and executive communications functions. Craig is a member of the Executive Management Team and will be developing and executing communications strategies to keep our employee-owners, clients and community partners engaged and informed about Ulteig’s activities, capabilities and achievements. Prior to joining Ulteig, Craig spent 19 years at Boston Scientific, a medical device manufacturer, in a variety of cross-functional leadership positions, including Sales, Marketing, Marketing Communications and Corporate Communications.

Ulteig’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Kelly Frankenfeld, said, “Craig not only brings competence in managing the communications function within a corporate setting, but he also understands the specific needs of operating in an engineering-focused, technical environment.” Davies added, “I am very excited to be joining the Ulteig team and helping an already successful company reach even greater accomplishments through its growth and expansion plans.”

Davies earned his undergraduate degree in English from Bates College and his M.B.A. in Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He will be based in the St. Paul office.
