Jim Horn Joins Ulteig as Chief Human Resources Officer

Ulteig announces the appointment of Jim Horn as Chief Human Resources Officer,with responsibility for the company’s Human Resources and Business Services functions. Jim is an outstanding addition to the team, with both breadth and depth of experience after serving nearly 20 years in Human Resources leadership roles for a variety of organizations and industries.  

Jim joins Ulteig after nine years at Donaldson Company, Inc. where he most recently served as Director, Global Talent Management, overseeing the Talent Development and Talent Acquisition groups. Prior to Donaldson, Jim was a Human Resources Manager for Target Corporation where he led a team of generalists who supported the Corporate Finance function. Jim was also a Director of Human Resources for Northrop Grumman’s (formerly TRW) $3B Space Technology sector.

Jim has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. Jim is a Six Sigma Green Belt, has his Strategic Workforce Planning Certification and serves on the Executive Leadership Advisory Board for the Carlson School of Management.

Jim’s leadership expertise will be an extremely valuable asset to Ulteig as the organization continues to attract and retain top talent and maintain strong employee engagement. 

Jim will primarily be located in Ulteig’s St. Paul office.
