Seven join Ulteig in August

Kurt Kisch
Kisch is the Land team’s new technical director, based in St. Paul, Minn. Kisch has experience in project and client management, annual budget planning, field and office operations for oil & gas clients, project bids, estimates, overseeing plat computation, drafting and description writing as well as overseeing the production of oil well drill pad plats and coordinating information. Kisch has a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology-survey option from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn., and is a licensed professional land surveyor in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana.
Robert Douglas
Douglas has joined the Land team as a survey technician at our Cedar Rapids, Iowa, office. He has experience operating GPS and total station to locate all structures on oil and gas pads, roads, existing pipelines, pipeline markers and power poles, as well as staking for right of way and power poles for construction of electrical distribution systems. Douglas has an associate’s degree in accounting from The Victoria College in Victoria, Texas.
David Pisano
Pisano is part of the Land team as a seasonal senior survey technician working out of Bismarck, N.D. He has experience in assigning and reviewing crews’ daily work, construction staking, pipeline layout, as-builts and maintaining positive client relationships. Pisano has more than 36 years of experience.
Jordan Guck
Guck is a new design engineer on the Substation team in Fargo office. He is experienced in designing structures in accordance with governing codes, designing improvements and repairs, investigating existing structures, reviewing structural shop drawings, executing design QA/QC’s, performing construction inspections, assisting with project proposals and mentoring new staff on design procedures. Guck has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo.
Corey Leinen
Leinen has re-joined the Civil team as a senior engineering technician in Fargo. He has experience in developing plans for new taxiway and apron jobs, using AutoCAD Civil 3D to create surfaces, grading, alignments, profiles, assemblies/subassemblies, cross-sections, storm sewer and sanitary sewer design. Leinen has an associate’s degree in architectural drafting and estimating technology from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, N.D.
Scott O’Meara
O’Meara has joined the Land team as a CADD technician in Fargo. He is experienced in using AutoCAD. O’Meara has an associate’s degree in architectural drafting and estimating from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton.
Jessica Ni
Ni has joined the T&D & C team as an engineer in our Denver office. She has experience in the design of transmission and distribution lines, 3D terrain modeling, sag and tension calculations, design and creation of structure models, details for various items during the design process, structure design, development of structure loads and performance drawings for steel structures. Ni has master’s degrees in both mechanical engineering and physics from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
