Susan Aspelund Joins Ulteig as it’s Interim Chief Financial Officer

Ulteig has welcomed Susan Aspelund as its interim Chief Financial Officer. Susan comes to Ulteig as a highly regarded and experienced financial executive who has assisted many organizations

through transition. She previously served in the capacity of interim CFO for the Midwest-based national law firm Taft Stettinius & Hollister, the Epilepsy Foundation of MN, the MS Society and most recently for third-party healthcare administrator HealthEZ. Susan also served as CFO at Washburn Center for Children in Minneapolis and has been a financial consultant and executive for Catholic Charities, Polaris Industries and Benedictine Health System, among others. Susan earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Minnesota State University – Mankato.

With her successful background in pivotal, high-accountability roles, Susan understands well the critical task of leading financial operations and activities in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Her broad business knowledge and experience in financial management, combined with her capabilities in leadership transition, will be a tremendous asset to Ulteig.

Susan is based in the Twin Cities and will assume leadership for the Finance & Accounting and Corporate Development teams while the company searches to fill the full-time Chief Financial Officer position.
