Hiring, developing, and retaining engineering talent is one of the most pressing concerns for those creating and sustaining our transportation and water infrastructure.

“Demands on our public infrastructure are becoming more intense and more complicated, and our clients are constantly thinking about how to build a workforce capable of tackling tomorrow’s challenges”, said Mallory Schupp, Ulteig’s Transportation and Water Market Director.

This holiday season, Ulteig’s Transportation and Water team decided to leverage the firm’s resources to be a part of the solution to this critical, ongoing problem. To honor and support Ulteig’s Transportation and Water clients, the team made a significant donation to FIRST, the world’s leading nonprofit advancing STEM education. With significant presence in all of Ulteig’s core geographies, FIRST fosters and develops passion and acumen for STEM through youth robotics programs across North America.

With this donation and ongoing in-kind and monetary support to organizations like FIRST, Ulteig hopes to stand alongside our clients in developing the next generation of engineers.

“We can’t wait to see how these talented young engineers advance our clients’ missions and build a brighter future in the fields of transportation and water, and throughout the engineering industry,” said Mallory.
