Market Director - Renewables
As Ulteig’s Market Director for the Renewables Lifeline Sector, Mia focuses on business management and strategic development, partnering with a phenomenal team of market leaders to bring consulting and engineering services to customers. For wind, solar, storage, hydrogen and emerging technologies, Mia and her team focus on understanding customer needs to deliver solutions that span early-stage physical and financial modeling and design through later-stage engineering, communications, controls and asset management services.
Mia leverages twenty years of experience in renewable energy and emerging technologies that includes leading the MISO Forward strategy initiative to evolve market design and tools at the ISO as more diverse assets come into operations, driving global business development strategy for energy storage at Wärtsilä and managing product innovation for sustainability outcomes at 3M. She holds a master’s in environmental management and sustainability from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
