Andi Schmid and Aaron Lauinger are ‘AEC Industry Rising Stars’

Two outstanding Ulteig team members have just been honored by the Zweig Group as Industry Rising Stars for 2022, āyoung professionals who have made an impact through exceptional technical capability, leadership ability, effective teaching or research, or public serviceā in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry.
Andi Schmid, Director-Civil Engineering, oversees eight engineering teams, comprised of over 100 employees.Ā She continues to increase net service revenue, hire new employees, and established and leads a women’s Employee Support Group to provide support to this under-represented group of employees.
Aaron Lauinger, Market Director, Transportation & Water-Client Solutions, has served on the Ulteig team for over 16 years.Ā His strategic leadership has expanded our footprint to Colorado and Texas, resulting in a 90% growth rate.Ā He has a passion for teaching, mentoring, coaching and advocating for diversity in engineering.
