Celebrating & Honoring Veterans

Ulteig’s continued DEI journey includes Veterans and the Veterans Employee Resource Group (ERG). To celebrate and honor Veterans on the upcoming Veterans Day and Remembrance Day in Canada, the ERG will be hosting a Day of Understanding, focused on veterans, active military, and their families.and will include:

• Keynote Conversation: Retired Colonel, Mike Farrell and Special guest, Margaret W. Burcham, retired Brigadier General of the U.S. Army will discuss what it means to serve and the integration of veterans in the workforce.
• Panel of Veterans and Family of Veterans: An insightful hour where employees will share their experiences.
• Other Challenges and Trivia: Ulteig team members will be able to play veterans trivia and listen to curated playlists.

Modeled after the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion, Ulteig’s Days of Understanding internal awareness campaign is held over four days and covers various topics, including race, gender, disability and veterans’ issues.
