Employee Spotlight – José Caceres

José Caceres joined Ulteig in 2019 as a Market Development Manager and he is based in Texas. This year Ulteig expanded its national footprint by opening an office in Austin, and José is excited to be part of Ulteig’s growth in the Lone Star State.

The timing of the Austin opening is perfect, according to José: “The state is experiencing tremendous growth, with lots of companies moving here for many reasons: a strong economy; reliable power; and incentives from cities. And, because more people are coming in, there’s a need for additional electric infrastructure.” 

José continued: “A lot of utilities are looking to diversify their generation portfolios and modernize their assets. With our capabilities, Ulteig can be a one-stop shop for clients looking for engineering expertise in both power and renewables.”

José brings over 11 years’ experience in the utility sector in a variety of roles including business and economic development, account management, and external affairs. He appreciates the work environment and culture at Ulteig. “Everyone at Ulteig is very engaged, open to communication, and understanding that no matter your position, we all make a difference. There are a lot of smart people here who are open and ready to collaborate and do things in new ways.”
