An article in the March 2018 edition of North Dakota Water Magazine describes the many challenges that the city of Mercer, ND faced in addressing its aging and inefficient water system.Â
Ulteig was hired as the city’s engineer and, in addition to providing design support, assisted in securing two grants from USDA Rural Development and the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund to support preplanning and project funding.Â
